HelpCraft is a Shopify app developed by DGLAB as an end-to-end system for creating and publishing Help Center content without manually editing theme code. Merchants manage categories, articles and reusable content blocks in a dedicated admin experience, while active content is published to the storefront Help Center and, on Pro, to Shopify Customer Accounts. The product is built around a Shopify-native workflow, structured content, multilingual publishing and minimal runtime dependency on the app infrastructure.

HelpCraft was created around a practical Shopify problem: merchants often need FAQ, shipping, returns, size-guide, payments and other help/policy pages, while the standard page editor becomes difficult to maintain once content is structured, reusable and published across multiple customer surfaces. The product therefore uses its own content graph of categories, articles and reusable sections that can be composed and reused without duplication.
The Article Composer supports structured content types including rich text, notices, CTAs, tabs, accordions, links, images and tracking blocks. Merchants can preview content, manage Draft/Active states, centrally edit reusable sections and publish the same logical help structure to different Shopify surfaces.
The Storefront Help Center is delivered through a Theme App Extension without manual theme-code edits. The Pro plan unlocks a Customer Accounts Help Center through a Shopify UI extension, while both surfaces use the same active content graph. This avoids maintaining two separate CMS copies and reduces the chance of the storefront and account experiences drifting apart.
Multilingual publishing follows Shopify store languages instead of creating a parallel language model. Additional locales are managed through the app, locale context is preserved across storefront and Customer Accounts, and downgrade behaviour keeps merchant content intact. The product also includes a Shopify Files-based media workflow, image sections, reusable links, custom colours/icons and responsive rendering.
The platform also covers managed Shopify pricing, the Free/Pro lifecycle, installation and setup, permission handling, transactional communication, the public marketing site, GA4 and deployment/operations on dedicated infrastructure. DGLAB’s goal is for HelpCraft to feel like a natural extension of Shopify Admin and the Shopify customer experience rather than an external page builder.
